Wizz Air reduced flight capacity on flights to Italy due to coronavirus (COVID-19)
The Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air has reduced its flights capacity to Italy from 11 Mar to 2 Apr due to reduced demand over the coronavirus.
On 27 Feb, Wizz Air announced that due to falling demand for flights to Italy caused by the outbreak of the coronavirus, it altered the flight schedule that resulted in flight cancellations to northern Italy between 11 Mar and 2 Apr.
Passengers with bookings affected by the reduction in flights are automatically informed and accommodated on alternative flights on the next available date. People that have booked directly on Wizz Air’s website or mobile app will receive an email notification offering free rebooking, full refund or 120% refund of the original price in airline credit.
