Alitalia Express (XM) is an airline based in Italy. According to Regulation (EC) No 261/2004, if your flight was delayed, cancelled or you were denied boarding your flight when travelling from or arriving in the EU, then you can file a compensation claim against Alitalia Express and get anywhere from €250 to €600 in compensation.

Under EU Regulation (EC) No 261/2004 you can receive compensation for the flight cancellation if you were informed about the cancellation less than 14 days before departure. The compensation amount depends on the flight distance, the length of the delay, and whether your flight is within the EU or not.
